Little Birdie Two Step Crackle Medium

Add crackle to almost any project! Our two-step crackle medium set includes a basecoat and topcoat that will work with both oils and acrylics. Great for adding a crackled, antique effect to creative projects, and suitable for all porous or non-porous surfaces. You can create a beautiful texture on wood, glass, metal, ceramic, plaster, paper, terracotta and more.

To use:

- Apply your chosen base coat of paint and allow it to dry completely.

- Brush on our Step 1 Base Coat to evenly cover the dry base coat, then allow to dry completely (usually 1.5 to 2 hours).

- Apply Step 2 Top Coat, keeping in mind that the thicker the application, the larger the cracks will be.

- Optional: Once the crackle medium dries completely, apply tinted wax or a color wash to highlight the cracks.
