You can slip in something handwritten, a photograph, a card, memento, or anything you like. Tuck offerings or ritual/special items in little spaces within nests or shells. The dioramas include original photographs or printed papers and found natural objects like feathers, dried mosses, small stones and crystals, twigs, seashells, and seeds. Many of the natural objects have been collected by the artist from all over the Northwest and from her own backyard. . . . . . Shapes and sizes vary. Archival glue. All shrines and boxes can be smudged, blessed, and charged with great care and love to suit each individual's needs. |
